TRADITIONAL CRAFTS DEMONSTRATION

Art and Craft Collective recently took part in the Carrickmacross Festival, Liz Christy and Lousie Loughman both demonstrated their craft skills live in the Sulis Gallery. Locals and visitors to the town alike were appreciative of the chance to see first hand the traditional handweaving and silk painting crafts being demonstrated, and also to have the opportunity to try out these crafts for themselves. Both Liz and Lousie are currently running courses, in their Swallow studios , You can see the range of workshops/courses on offer at Sulis Design centre , or alternatively contact each artist through their own blog……

NEW ARTISAN COLLECTION LAUNCH 18TH APRIL 09 AT SULIS DESIGN CENTRE CARRICKMACROSS

Art and Craft Collective are Launching a new Artisan Collection on Saturday 18th April froom 12 noon, the new collection will feature new works from all the artists and craftworkers, and also with the devlopment of new GIFT IDEA section in the gallery, its hoped that there will be something unusual , unique to interest everyone..from Weddings, Christenings, Mother, Father, Grandparents, His and Her gifts.. we ask you to come along enjoy a glass of fine wine with us.. and celebrate the originality and creativity of Sulis Design Centre .. be original..buy original…
